, it's Winter Time again. We all dread it!!!, lots of cold, wet weather and lots of cold "Pissed Off" Bus owners to boot.
Get Ready!!! it's time that we Brit's seriously consider that annual job called the Winter service.
Go... The following are the IMPORTANT areas of Concern, and must be done in order to Keep you and your Bus active throughout the cold Winter months.
Top Ten Winter Tips:-| 1. | Change your Engine Oil. | (Don't skip this if you want years of motoring from your engine.) |
| 2. | Change your Points and Condenser. | (Do both, don't skimp to save.) |
| 3. | Clean and change your Oil in your Air Filter. | (Yes as standard there is in there somewhere.) |
| 4. | Ensure that you Carburettor Pre-Heater Pipes are connected. | (This stops the dreaded Carburettor Icing.) |
| 5. | Check your heating system for leaks and function. | (This job is messy and can be expensive, but don't worry give us a call and we can sort it out for the best prices available...) |
| 6. | Clean your Head Lights and ensure all others are working. | You should do this every time you use your Bus, But in the Winter this is a must. |
| 7. | Check
your Tyre Pressures and adjust if required.

| 8. | Check your Brake Fluid Levels and top-up is required. | |

No more Leaded Fuel, What are you going to do...
The year 2000 will bring not just bring a new millennium but years of trouble for Classic Volkswagen owners.
which will result in the amount of leaded fuel being reduced and what is available, will be rationed!!!. The government has not disclosed to the general public just how they intend to distribute what leaded fuel is in circulation... (Government Stiff's, make up you Blo*dy minds and inform us, the public !!!...)
